For a majority of assignments, an induction course will be carried out prior to commencement of work. This will involve the company’s policies and basic Health and Safety training.
Qubic will ensure that you are met and introduced to your Supervisor and shown the environment that you will be working in. If a Contract Manager is not present on site at an assignment, follow up calls are made to deal with any issues that you may have.
Qubic are also able to offer free training and conversion courses for Forklift Drivers, who wish to take up one of their assignments.
When a client is actively seeking a permanent member of staff, they will invite Qubic to carry out the initial recruitment process on their behalf. Qubic will primarily interview, reference and assess candidates before sending CV’s to the client. The client will then interview any suitable candidates before deciding on a successful applicant. As the successful applicant, you will work exclusively for the client and not through Qubic.
This uses the two processes of temporary and permanent. This will mean that you work for a set number of weeks on a temporary basis, before being employed on a full time basis. This allows you the opportunity to assess the role and for the client to review you. If after the number of weeks previously stated both parties are in agreement, the position will become permanent.
In a temporary position, Qubic is your employer, not the client you are working for. Qubic offer long and short term temporary positions. Temporary workers may be required for short term:
